Dr. Niki Young, ND, graduated from The University of Detroit Mercy in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in various roles within chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Young has worked in research and development labs for major international chemical companies, giving her a unique understanding of the manufacturing process and quality evaluation of nutraceutical products.
Dr. Young’s interest in Naturopathic Medicine was sparked by her own experience with a chronic illness that proved challenging to treat through conventional medicine. Turning to the internet for alternative solutions, she discovered the Southwest College of Natural Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, AZ. Within a year, she enrolled in classes and earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2010.
Driven by a passion for cancer supportive therapies, Dr. Young recognizes the potential of various modalities to alleviate the side effects and enhance the effectiveness of conventional oncological treatments. Attending integrative oncology conferences and joining the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians led her to cross paths with renowned Dr. Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO, author of “The Metabolic Approach to Cancer.” In 2020 she enrolled in Dr Nasha’s Metabolic Approach to Cancer Master Course and became a Terrain Certified Network Practitioner.
